Arab and Muslim-Bashing Failed in 2008

"None of these incidents passed unnoticed, with the mainstream media writing extensively on each, sometimes causing even greater concern for Arab Americans and American Muslims who wanted to be part of the election '08 story, but not in this manner."

The Ideology of No Ideology

"The ideology of no ideology is nifty. No matter how tilted in favor of powerful interests, it can be a deft way to keep touting policy agendas as common-sense pragmatism -- virtuous enough to draw opposition only from ideologues."

Arabs Should Act Now -- Not Wait for Obama

"...what the West Bank and Gaza desperately need are job creation, infrastructure and capacity-building projects, as well as immediate relief. The Arabs do participate in international efforts to subsidize the Palestinian Authority budget, but that merely maintains the unacceptable status quo. If it’s good for Alaska, why wouldn’t it be good for America as a whole?"

Election Day: "It ain't over 'til it's over."

"...I recently had Professor Lichtman on my Abu Dhabi TV show, "Viewpoint," where he said that his analysis now only gives McCain five, causing him to predict a Reagan-style 1980 Democratic sweep for Obama."
